Class Descriptions

Acoustic Guitar - $40

Terry has selected three songs which will be performed at the end of the semester. These are songs that accommodate either a beginner or experienced guitar player. The instructor will determine each student’s skill level in beginning classes. Each student will receive individualized instruction from Terry.

American Girl Doll Crafts - $80

Welcome to the magical world of american girl dolls coming alive with all things miniature! We will be making 18 inch doll accessories, for you to either play with, or to use for your stop motions. You do not need to have an "American Girl Doll" brand, it can be any 18 inch doll, or you could use it for your stuffed animals. For those of you who have taken my previous American Girl doll Class, it will be the same format, but different crafts. We will not repeat. Some examples of things we might make: classic children's books, happymeal, phone, iPad, TV, a bed, pottery dishes, makeup, food, treat stand, grocery store aisle, small pieces of furniture such as an ottoman, chair or coffee table. All the perfect size for an 18 inch doll! If your child is not into "playing with dolls", these are great props for stop motions with dolls. This class will inspire the creativity to then go home and make up their own creations. Soon, your child will be looking at all objects like this: "that could be a cup for my doll!" "that would work for a wheel!" "that would work for a pie pan!" Suddenly garbage will be treasures :) This class is only for making the items, not for actual playing or making stop motions.
